Bunting Burp Cloths

Somewhat impractical, but totally cute, Mom and I made “bunting” burp cloths last week. Scraps of colored fabric, folded and ironed into triangles, became bright bunting running across ribbons and ric rac. I’ve never seen prettier burp cloths. 

Mom and I have been thoroughly enjoying making treasures for our baby. As I sew and stitch, I imagine how my life will change as I become a mother. I have no idea what to expect, except that I know I'll be a great mommy. How? Because I have my mom to model my motherhood after, and she's the best of the best.

Tim has declared this week my “Mother’s Day Jubilee” and for the first time, I will be celebrating Mother’s Day in a totally new way.
