Change of Plans

Our flight to London was cancelled. Boo-hoo.

Living in Wisconsin, I never really expected my life to be dramatically - or even slightly - impacted by a volcano.

Two new tickets have been purchased.

After hours of deliberation and searching for last minute tickets, we stumbled across jaw-dropping good deals on one destination we both really, really want to visit.

Australia it is.

Talk about an extreme change of plans.

Does anyone have suggestions for how to survive a 15 hour plane ride?

  4. I AM SO MUCH MORE EXCITED ABOUT THIS THAN ENGLAND!
    (hence the all capitals)

I cannot wait to hear all about your magical adventure to the outback. I am in love with a land I've never even been to! I advise getting a head start on your travel journals on the plane ride, and playing fun games! And bringing along your ipod touch from littlest sister :)

Oh and if you two could bring me back either a kangaroo or a koala that would be icing on the cake! heeheehee Love you!!! And good anya mate!

  5. P.S. In a way you inadvertently kept your destination for your trip a secret since it was a secret even from yourself. Only God knew where you two would be going!!! He sure does have a sense of humor :)

  6. Ya this whole process has really been a miracle babe! We prayed that God would lead us to an amazing beautiful trip, and never would either of us even have thought Australia was possible.
Now I get to take my most gorgeous wife to the land down under!! My dream of getting to show you the world has been so blessed in the last year!
